Shana Washington
Founder & CEO
Shana Washington is the Founder and CEO of Social Butterflii, Inc., which she launched in Milwaukee in 2014 to walk with girls through every next stage of life, from girlhood into womanhood. With 15+ years as an advocate, speaker, and facilitator for youth and communities, she's spent her career meeting girls where they are: in classrooms, group homes, alternative schools, and juvenile detention centers. Social Butterflii was built around one belief: every girl deserves to be seen, heard, and understood.
Impact
Since 2014, Social Butterflii has served over 5,000 girls in partnership with 100+ organizations across Milwaukee, Atlanta, Grand Rapids, and Dallas.
